Modern Warfare is an enormous game, and people have been hoping to download only Call of Duty Warzone, seeing as how that would be a much smaller file. Or, at the very least, be able to download Warzone and then delete Modern Warfare to save on HDD space. Well, we've tested it out both on PC and PlayStation, and we'll present our findings in our Download CoD Warzone without Modern Warfare guide.
Can you Install Just CoD Warzone without Modern Warfare?

Once you have it installed, to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare offline, all you need to do is select the Go Offline option. This will let you boot up the campaign and get cracking with the story, simple as you like. Even though the game box says that an internet connection is.
No, you cannot install just Call of Duty Warzone without also downloading the entirety of Modern Warfare. Even though they might have separate entries on Battle.net and the PlayStation Store etc, it'll still download and install the whole thing. If you're a free player, it'll gate you off from all the content of Modern Warfare, leaving you only with Warzone, but the entirety will have to be on your machine. So, you'll have to clear out around 100 GB off your hard drive to house this absolute monstrosity, even if CoD Warzone is all you want.
Some people that have refunded Modern Warfare or uninstalled it for whatever reason have been having some confusion over this. They think that they can't download Warzone alone because of what they did. That's not the case at all; as we've explained, the download is this big for everyone. Well, not everyone; those that already have Modern Warfare installed will only have to download an extra 20 GB or so. Which, in the end, still means that a significant chunk of your hard drive will be full, but at least you get to play the rest of the game, too.
So, there you have it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you have to download the entirety of CoD Modern Warfare even if you only want to play Warzone. Three Steps to Starting Up
After launching the game and watching the boot-up sequence, you'll be greeted by the title screen. High sierra upgrade to mojave. Carry out the on-screen command, read through the Terms of Agreement, accept it, and you'll then go through three simple steps to start up Modern Warfare:
Step 1: Adjust the game's brightness, which should be done accordingly to fit your screen and gaming environment. Don't worry; this can be adjusted again in-game.
Step 2: Go through the Quick Setup menu, a boiled down version of the main settings. Here's a quick breakdown of what's on here:
· Accessibility: The first options subsection – Accessibility – is for colorblind gamers. Here, you can make adjustment by colorblind type and apply a colorblind target filter.
· Controls: Next up, for those playing on consoles, you'll have the option to change controls. Franchise veterans may have a specific setting they love, but for those that are new you can stick with the default and experiment with different presets later to see what works for you. Also, below controls is where you can invert vertical look, which inverts camera movements on the Y-axis when enabled.
· Sensitivity: This submenu has options for horizontal and vertical stick sensitivity, which is set to 3 – medium – by default. These define how fast your aim moves on both the horizontal and vertical axis in-game, with 1 being the slowest aiming speed and 20 being insanely fast. Newcomers might want to keep this at 3, then adjust according to their comfort level after playing and experimenting in Multiplayer.
· Graphics and Audio: Rounding out the Quick Setup menu are the graphics and audio options. The graphics option contains the safe area matrix, which allows you to adjust the in-game heads-up display (HUD) safe area to fit the screen. As for audio, this is where you can turn on subtitles, change the audio mix, and adjust individual levels for music, effects, dialogue, and master volume.
